A Message from President Pat White

As we wake this morning to electoral news that for many of us is unexpected and shocking, I hope that the membership of Local 764 can find solace and strength in our Solidarity.

Please take comfort in the fact that we have each other, and together we will navigate the next four years to fight for the rights of unions, workers, cities, the arts, healthcare, housing, sustainable climate, and people of all kinds, everywhere. Reimagining what that battle looks like is part of the work ahead.

Activism will be more important going forward than ever before, along with dialogue, mutual respect, cooperation, empathy, opportunity, and employment. As we reflect on the election results and wonder what is to come, hold tight to your belief that the union is one of the things that makes us strong.
